ClassicalLink.com is the new Portal site, designed to provide visitors with a single point of access to a number of websites, all selected for their focus on classical and related music but each offering different products and services to the classical music enthusiast. The founder members of the Portal are ClassicAll Network Ltd's www.ludwigvanweb.com site, and Dr Len Mullenger's two sites Music Web <http://www.musicweb.uk.net> and Film Music <http://www.filmmusic.uk.net>.
With access to just these sites today visitors are able to listen to samples of every track from the online CD catalogues of 24 independent classical music labels; read thousands of CD reviews; compile and download over 1,000 hours of fine and rare repertoire; purchase "deep catalogue" CDs; and cross-search the entire Portal to discover its member sites' many other musical and editorial features. Other sites internationally have expressed interest in becoming members of classicalLink.com and it is anticipated that some of them will join the new Portal in the coming months.
